Product Safety
OptimaFlex contains pure and natural ingredients that are proven to be safe and
effective. Unlike drugs or pharmaceuticals, its targeted nutrients do not cause
negative side effects. Many joint health supplements on the market contain ingredients
derived from shellfish, but OptimaFlex contains a non-shellfish form of glucosamine
sulfate that is plant-based.
No Drug Interactions
There is no known potential for harmful or negative food interactions when using
Optima4. OptimaFlex contains nutrients which the U.S. Government has declared GRAS
(Generally Recognized as Safe).
No Addictive Properties
OptimaFlex does not contain any addictive substances. Although this product helps
to reduce inflammation and promote joint hydration, flexibility and pain relief,
performance does not fall below pre-existing levels after you stop taking it.
Ingredients
OptimaFlex is designed to help anyone improve the movement of their joints and muscles
using a natural solution comprised of some of the most effective vitamins and nutrients
known to nutritional science. OptimaFlex’s top-quality blend helps to reduce
inflammation and increase joint hydration, which can help repair connective tissue
and ease pain. This formulation is made of the following active ingredients:
Bromelain
Bromelain is an enzyme that reduces the proteins that are released when a muscle
or joint is overextended. These proteins are what lead to inflammation and pain.
Studies have shown that bromelain can also reduce bruising, pain and healing time,
and can even help as a therapeutic aid in treating inflammatory diseases, such as
arthritis and even sinusitis. Bromelain is not found in many competitor products,
and more studies are being conducted on this enzyme compound found in the stems
of pineapple.
Boswellia
When you feel pain, it’s your body’s way of telling you that something
is wrong. Pain is a signal to stop and take care of a problem, and it is caused
by the dying of cells. It can happen through trauma, overexertion, illness or infection.
OptimaFlex is designed to reduce the enzymes that cause cell death, and thus address
pain directly. Boswellia is a form of acid that has been shown to slow cell death
by keeping the enzymes that attack cells at bay.
Devil’s Claw
OptimaFlex also includes devil’s claw, which has anti-inflammatory and analgesic
(pain relieving) properties. It is used in the treatment of painful arthritic conditions
to help suppress some of the enzymes responsible for creating pain through cell
breakdown.
Cat’s Claw
Similar to devils claw, cat’s claw, is also an important component of OptimaFlex.
This ingredient has been shown in studies to be effective in reducing the mutation
of cells and repressing their increase in numbers. It’s an anti-inflammatory
plant native to rainforests, and has been studied for use as a possible anti-cancer
drug.
Curcumin
Curcumin has been shown to be an antioxidant and a substance that can help keep
inflammation under control by inhibiting two common pain triggers: COX-2 and LOX
(enzymes responsible for pain), both of which are known to contribute to arthritis
and the breakdown of cartilage. By keeping the cartilage guarded against breakdown,
pain will be less likely to occur as the joints will stay more flexible, lubricated
and healthy.
Cetyl Myristoleate
The key ingredient in OptimaFlex to supplement the joints is cetyl myristoleate.
Cetyl myristoleate has been reported to act as a lubricant for the joints and muscles,
helping in the building of cartilage and reducing inflammation. It is an expensive,
rare ingredient, but one that has been shown in studies to have impressive results
in protecting the joints and lowering the possibility of future damage.
Hyaluronic Acid
Friction can be another cause of joint breakdown and inflammation, and that’s
why OptimaFlex contains hyaluronic acid to help reduce friction in the joint cartilage.
This molecule creates a viscous environment and helps cushion the joints—acting
almost like a protective water bed.
Glucosamine and MSM
OptimaFlex also includes glucosamine and MSM (methylsulfonylmethane). Glucosamine
has been shown to prevent or reduce the destruction of joint cartilage in numerous
studies. It is available in most supplement aisles in stores, and doctors are even
beginning to prescribe it to patients suffering from osteoarthritis and other joint
problems. However, the quality of these products found in grocery stores usually
means a patient is not getting the most optimal form of this amino sugar.
