Since one of the primary goals of TriVita
is to help people live fuller, healthier lives, it is only natural for us to take
the Mission a step further. Each year, TriVita employees and members of the Business
Affiliate community reach out through donations and volunteer time to make a difference
in the lives of the less fortunate. In some communities throughout the world, food
and water are scarce, disease and poverty are rampant, and domestic violence is an
every day occurrence. TriVita is taking an active role in the following charities:
LIFE OUTREACH INTERNATIONAL
Active in over 40 countries, Life Outreach International(LOI) is dedicated to feeding
starving children throughout the world. LOI provides food, water, community development,
medical care and disaster relief. Today, the organization is building extensive
water-well projects throughout Africa in the Water for Life campaign. In 2005, TriVita
raised over $150,000 to build wells in Africa. Thanks in part to donations from
TriVita and its Business Affiliates, Water for Life has brought clean water sources
to some of the worlds poorest areas, and will continue to do so in the future.
FAITH HOUSE
Dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence rebuild their lives, Faith House
in Phoenix, AZ provides secure housing, training programs, and intensive therapy
to women and children. TriVita employees spend hundreds of hours each year volunteering
at Faith House, doing everything from helping out with repairs to reading to children
on a weekly basis. In addition, TriVita employees make sure that families at Faith
House receive Christmas presents, Easter baskets and an Independence Day barbecue.
In 2004, TriVita was recognized as the “Donor of the Year” by the non-profit
organization. It is an honor we are very proud of; the commemorative plaque is displayed
in TriVita’s corporate lobby for all to see.
